and yet when the unexpected arises
it may not help at all !!!
NORMALISING the “SERIOUS STUFF”
been visited by the dark night of the soul,
a not unfamiliar guest;
uncomfortable, though welcome:
a sacred rite of passage –
through disintegration, despair, & disorientation
grateful for all the ‘tools’ available….many old teachers
come by in my mind’s eye…and give support

a stripping away of all that was meaningful…
a well documented aspect of the mystic’s journey
Extremely hard to put into words and
not of the reasonable world
you might take care with whom you share it…

glimmers of light slowly arise
….I see visions from this urban view across Bristol
…the ocean and heavenly mountain ranges….
