the overlooked, unnoticed, the taken for granted, the seemingly inconsequential….
what if we noticed anew, paid attention, honoured what is before us…
practiced being fully present
having lived in the same area over a 35year stretch

becoming nobody/not substantialising (fixing) self or othering others
impermanence / every thing is all ways changing
what’s looking remains the same
and an app/edit of a selfie is always a good reminder: I & I
…& the little one is still there…..
what is looking is same as it ever was…

all ways present, part of being human, yet so rarely acknowledged
returning to some beautiful teachers and teachings from the past
seeing and feeling anew
extending loving kindness, affection and mercy
to our selves – benefits all…
