cat videos
binge watching Netflix
….which may easily shift from
research or entertainment
to soul-shrivelling habituation…
enslavement – yikes –
freedom-lovers take note

as winter arises we too put down our roots, go within, & connect with
this energy in the body, moment by moment – the true nature of mind
letting go of the old being
we may find ourselves in-the-inbetween…
the cauldron bubbles quietly on the range….

indigenous plants, uncovering their names, making prints from them…
and in this becoming better acquainted with our own true nature
made of the same stuff: space….energy…light
