Month: September 2023

@ the turning of the year
apparently happening here
in the UK this
Saturday 23rd September @ 7:49 am

as the seasons turn, we see impermanence clearly – same as our states: always naturally shifting
being able to state change for ourselves, as everything comes from us, is empowering
what do you utilise to transform from one state to another…
here, we are: dancing chanting walking writing stretching laughing talking weeping
noticing meditating running making playing singing…..
🎶 MUSIC 🎶 can be a beautiful state shifter
tuning in to what will serve you and be of benefit to all is quite an art
and of course a practice: which implies activity/demonstration
…beyond mere conceptual understanding

we each have our favoured supports/systems that assist us in
being the best version of ourselves
we are keen on what we call Divine Scaffolding
here are a few examples:
chanting mantra, writing morning pages, artists’ dates, daily walking,
honouring the ancestors, therapy, mentoring, artist buddying,
reading about /seeing other people’s magnificent accomplishments,
making art, prayer, walking the dog, meditation, service

we have been reflecting on unconditional love, on devotion

for some of us that is for a pet, a friend, a sibling, a teacher, a Guru
and perhaps it is hard to practice devotion without great self affection
being the love of your own life
some would proffer,
the most important relationship in our lives
is with our own inner child
