being invited to think about an educational workshop I participated in
nearly forty years ago got me thinking…
it’s interesting to recognise & acknowledge specific ways in
which people have contributed to, and influenced, us
I had to dig deep to identify the massive contribution the transformational workshop made to me
all those years ago, and this evoked a desire to name some of my teachers, mentors, gurus and guides
…to honour them I have made a book
it’s a one-off, handmade unique work
fairly arbitrary categories were chosen to create sections
(above) Teachers before they were affixed!
and tucked into a glasseine envelope at the back of the book,

I made a choice not to include my friends, ancestors, neighbours, family,
detractors, intimates, enemies, supporters, students, lovers, strangers, relatives –
ie everybody who has ever been in my life and has made me who I am…
because the tome would be
