a friend took me to visit beautiful St Hubert’s
affectionately known as The Little Church in the Fields,
dating back to the 11th century, one can imagine
ancient festivals such as Imbolc being celebrated there
for the many wisdom sisters in my life, I honour you:

players musicians mothers performers artists et al
each one empowered as

this year I am making a creative offering each day
– of image and text –
and it is proving to be a delight:
from insertions into newspapers in the local shop,
to deep in the woods with the angels,
to sending artwork, from the archive, in the post…
a sense of fun and guerrilla tactics prevails
in the light: shrine to my Beloved root teacher Ziji Rinpoche
a beautiful sacred well, visited with wisdom sisters on the first day of this year
from the Immaculate heart College in the 1960s….
